About Green Gateway Initiative

As market leader in providing heating and cooling solutions for commercial and domestic buildings....

Mitsubishi Electric has the ability to make a huge impact and fundamentally change the way we think about heating, cooling and ventilating our buildings.

To help halt the effects of climate change worldwide, there’s an increasing need for people everywhere to adopt a more responsible approach to energy use and emissions. Over 40% of all energy is used in the built environment. The UK Government has set demanding targets to reduce CO2 emissions by 26% by 2020 and 60% by the year 2050.

The Green Gateway Initiative is Mitsubishi Electric’s direct response to this challenge. A bold and ambitious 10-point plan that looks to fundamentally change the way we think about heating, cooling and ventilating our buildings. As market leader we aim to highlight how the nation can reduce CO2 emissions by over 3 million tonnes of CO2 per year, by the year 2016, that’s the equivalent of removing a massive 830,000 cars from the UK’s roads or planting 4,500,000 trees.

The Green Gateway Initiative aims to make a huge difference in helping people and businesses everywhere to achieve significant cuts in CO2 emissions, whilst substantially reducing energy consumption to help mitigate the ever rising cost of energy.
